Our Programs
Seattle Ballet Conservatory offers a wide range of levels for all students interested and pursuing ballet. Divided into 3 pillars, Seattle Ballet Conservatory provides an Outreach program, a Conservatory, and eventually a choreography project for freelancers and advanced division dancers. We provide a curated syllabus that elevates both classical ballet technique and dynamic movement. Each level and pillar is a building block, building form, efficiency, expansiveness, artistry, and teaching and choreography skills.
Within our beautifully made studios, dancers discover their potential through and supportive community, individualized development plans, and motivating teachers.
The Conservatory
Registration for the 2026/2027 school year is open! All students wanting to be considered must submit a registration form and attend our open audition. In-person open audition will be held on August 8th.
Foundations
Foundations serve as the entry level into our conservatory. This level is for dancers who are ready to commit to full-time ballet training and education. Foundations will establish the fundamental structural blueprint for the pre-professional dancer and focus on pure technique, pre-pointe, variations, and targeted conditioning to build a dancer’s internal structural alignment forging a strong, highly disciplined baseline.
Classes Provided: Technique, Pre-Pointe/Pointe, Variations & Conditioning (11 hrs of training per week)
10.5 Hours of Weekly Training (approximately)
Tuition: $650 per month over the course of 10 months (September - June)
Intermediate
Transitioning from learning the "shape" to mastering the "action," the Intermediate level focuses on pure technique, pointe work, classical variations, repertory, and conditioning. Dancers shift into a dynamic, fast-paced environment featuring speed and efficiency. The curriculum places a high priority on upper-body coordination and placement to execute steps seamlessly. Students also develop advanced musicality, learning to use the music to help their dancing. Dancers in this level will also participate in Choreography getting choreographed on and have experience choreographing on their peers. A highlight of this level is the student’s active participation in our exclusive, in-house Choreography Project.

13.5 Hours of Weekly Training (approximately)
Tuition: $850 per month over the course of 10 months (September - June)
Advanced/ Pre-Professional
Designed to merge classical lyricism with a powerful, athletic scale, the Advanced curriculum provides comprehensive training in technique, pointe, classical variations, repertory, choreography, and pas de deux. This level exposes dancers to multiple ballet methodologies, equipping them with the versatility required to adapt and excel in any professional environment. Artistically, advanced students engage deeply in the creative process, gaining invaluable experience both as choreographers and as dancers being choreographed on. A highlight of this level is the student’s active participation in our exclusive, in-house Choreography Project.
Classes Provided: Technique, Pointe, Variations/Répertoire, Conditioning/Yoga, Choreography, Pas de Deux, and Professional opportunities.
16.5 Hours of Weekly Training (approximately)
Tuition: $1,050 per month over the course of 10 months (September - June)
Future Artistry Begins Here: 26/27 Conservatory Auditions
Seattle Ballet Conservatory invites aspiring dancers 8yrs-20yrs old to join us for our upcoming in-person open auditions for the 2026–2027 academic year. Held on August 8th, this audition is open to dancers across all three of our conservatory levels. Whether your dancer is taking their first steps into structured training or refining their technique for a professional track, this is an opportunity to experience our world-class faculty firsthand.
